My name is Rhyan, and I’m passionate about helping people integrate their traumatic experiences into the full, complex story of their lives. When we can acknowledge trauma with safety and compassion, it begins to take up less space in our bodies, relationships, and sense of self. So many of us are taught—by families, schools, or systems of oppression—to “just get over it” or “pull ourselves up by our bootstraps.” But what if we never had boots to begin with?

In our work together, we’ll explore your story at your pace. We’ll gently unlearn the coping strategies that no longer serve you, and uncover pathways toward joy, self-agency, and meaningful connection.

I believe that trust is earned and that true safety is foundational to lasting therapeutic work. I will always collaborate with you to co-create a space that feels safe enough to be real. As a therapist, I show up with presence, respect, honesty, curiosity, and patience.
I work with people navigating PTSD and C-PTSD, neurodivergence, relational trauma, religious trauma, and identity development. I also support people experiencing political anxiety or struggling to stay in relationship with family or friends who hold very different political beliefs. These are tender, high-stakes dynamics—and you don’t have to figure them out alone.
I especially love working with marginalized individuals of varying identities, and I’m honored to serve the LGBTQ+ community as a proud member myself. My approach is always grounded in the belief that healing is not just personal—it’s also political, relational, and deeply human.
Queer, neurodivergent, politically exhausted? Same. Let’s talk.
